Only one turn of the cards for fools like us...

Been an odd day..

Had an okay day at college, although when it was time to go home I lost my ticket and had to walk back up the main street in Ayr trying to find it. Luckily I did, as I didn’t have money to buy another one, and got on the train home. I was pretty grumpy on the train and just ignored everyone, choosing my iPod over their company.

When I did get home, I was looking forward to just hanging with the family. As it turned out, I got in and saw Jim was home. So him and my mum were heading off for dinner. That was fair enough, and I was happy just hanging with Calum. He left at the same time for the Music Town meeting. So I just sat on the couch for hours watching crappy tv and realising I was wasting my evening. Eventually Calum came back with Lilli. I was still grumpy at this point, but we had some dinner (haggis and ketchup in a bowl) and I cheered up. They invited me out to the Royal. I liked the invite but said no as I had no money.

Jim & mum came back from dinner, and Jim gave me an envelope full of money for my birthday. So that’s great, it was a really generous amount and will give me money for the cruise and I should be able to get driving lesson. I decided to go to the Royal and I’m really glad I did. It was pretty much empty. Just a really nice atmosphere. Only bummer is, while en route to the Royal I went to check my balance and realised I’ve lost my bank card. After checking the house and such I’m certain it’s missing. I’m thinking it fell out of my pocket on the train, so I’ll ask them tomorrow, if they don’t know I’ll phone the bank and cancel it. I hate getting a new card though. I always forget to change the account details with someone. It’s just a process I hate. Otherwise, my day has taken a good turn. :)
